Sifting through GEDCOM import?

I uploaded a GEDCOM with circa 3,800 profiles centered on me. It took circa 1.5 months to complete, however the stats in my profile indicate 2,643 Added, 2,818 Following, 2,496 Managed etc. 

What happened to the circa 1,000 profiles that are missing? And how can I identify all the missing profiles?

  You can see the status of your import from https://www.geni.com/gedcom

  The import will stop when it detects possible duplicates. Please see https://www.geni.com/projects/What-to-do-after-you-have-uploaded-a-GEDCOM/53094
