A person I added to my tree years ago (my uncle) was also a Geni user and so I can't edit his profile.
He died in February of 2016 and it really annoys me that I can't mark as deceased
Any suggestion would be appreciated

I have the same problem. My wife died last January and now they are asking everyone to send her "birthday greetings." This is one of the dumbest websites I've ever seen. They don't give any way to contact them.
