Unwanted Default Entries

This problem was addressed before, but I can no longer find the thread.

When entering a new Person to Geni, I enter the available information I have. For Place of Birth, I always click on Show and Edit Location Details and enter as much info as I know. On some occasions, which I can't predict, when I review the Place of Birth information I added, Geni has inappropriately added a town and Postal Code - always Nova vas and Postal code 1385. The town entry may be incorrect and the Postal Code is certainly erroneous in the 17th and 18th centuries.
This causes me to later review new entries and remove erroneous and unwanted information automatically added by Geni.
I thought this issue had been addressed and corrected, but it has returned on an unpredictable basis.
The developers have either reverted to bad code or missed a code path where this problem was not addressed.
Please fix this once and for all.

  I just created this fake entry for demonstration purposes after adding the Slovenia language tab.

  I entered

  Date of Birth: 1680 and checked the Circa Box, then clicked on Show and Edit Location Details and entered:

  County: Bloke

  State/Province: Cerknica

  Country: Slovenia

  I Clicked Save and Close, then reopened the Show and Edit Location Details option.

  Geni had inappropriately added

  City: Nova Vas

  Postal Code: 1385

  I had left these 2 fields blank.

  Geni should not enter this data automatically. This behavior was happening some time ago and I and another user pointed it out. Eventually it stopped and the problem appeared to be fixed. This bogus automatic data entry seems to be happening again - but not all the time. Only in some instances.

  If I know the City and add data there, no Postal Code is added.

  Hi James, many thanks for the additional details. We were able to reproduce this using the Create a Branch tool. We have forwarded this to our engineers and will let you know once it has been fixed.
