I can't delete the wrong connection ("Анна Исидоровна (Срулевна) Каплунова" with "Муж: Давид (Дувид) Израйлевич (Срулевич) Рейн (1878 - 1939))" - button "Delete" is not active when I try to do this!

  Why on earth and since when? This was possible before! It's like forcing a paid service!
  (Besides, I didn't have this erroneous connection; it only arose recently!)
  And what other perfectly normal tree editing actions are you planning to charge?

  You can remove a connection if the profiles are connected to the tree in more than one way, such as in a cycle. However, if removing the connect will split the tree, then a Pro subscription is required. 

  Again, as a free basic user, you can simply ask a volunteer curator for help disconnecting the relationship in the tree https://www.geni.com/discussions/302266 .
