No way to add a photo to a profile. Button / Link missing!

I would like to add a profile photo for this person, but there’s NO link in the photo square to add one like normal?

  ask from the person who has added the profile, its living person? and that is controlled by person itself?

  I did ask and they don’t know why it’s blank either? I tried looking around for a way to switch it on, but have exhausted all efforts.

  Hi Tracy, that profile is a claimed account. This means that Sue Werner will need to login to her account to add a profile photo. 

  She may do this on her profile page by clicking on "Add Photo" in the silhouette.

  But theres no “add photo” on the silhouette for anyone to click on. It’s blank. And what exactly is a claimed account? This is the first time in about 15 years that I’ve ever run across this issue?

  A claimed account is when a user has claimed their profile with their email address either by starting an account or by accepting an invitation to join. Since Sue has claimed her account, only she can edit her profile and add a profile photo. You are unable to see "add photo" because you do not have permission to edit her profile. Sue will have the option to do it. 
  

   

  I see you have tagged her in a photo. If she wants to use that photo as her profile photo, then she can click on the photo in her Media tab and select "Set Profile Photo."

  Hmm…. Ok that’s too bad about the photo.

  Thank you for explaining the term “Claimed Account” I had not heard that one before.
