Hi

I have joined Geni Pro and started a tree of my family and than realized that there are duplicates, but after requesting to merge them they where not merged.

So I have a Father and a "stepfather" now although they are the same person and I have a "stepsister" that is me!!! but  whom I cannot edit.

I am ready to erase myself not to have a duplicate but then I would not be able to edit my profile because it doesn't recognise that it is me.

I have read all the instructions and followed them but could not resolve it.  Is there a way to talk to somebody and get help?

  Hi Asnat, we have completed the merge for you and for your father.  The reason you were unable to complete the merge is because the duplicates profiles for yourself and your father were already claimed with email addresses. Once the account is claimed, only that person will be able to edit and merge their own profile. This means you would have needed to login to your other account to complete the merge. We noticed your father's old email address was bouncing, so we completed his merge too.
