Privacy and Editing capability taken away for no reason.

I am having a privacy issue with some Curators who are making master profiles out of my close family groupings for family I manage. What can I do?

The profile I manage was created by ME, with my Family information and was meant for close family groupings. I was told to unprivatize my family even though I manage profiles for people well within the 150 year mark!  Certain people are just trying to take over my families information, harrass,  and scrutinize. Is there nothing that can be done?

I am not a paying customer so I do not get to write up a ticket, but it seems that my privacy capability was taken away for baseless reasons. I read the rules and it states that as long as I manage profiles that close family groupies then I can privatize the family.

  Hi Melissa, we looked at your account and your edit permissions have not been suspended. To clarify, you do not need to upgrade to report misconduct on Geni. You may email us directly at misconduct@geni.com. In your email, please provide specific examples of where a profile born within the last 150 years was made public without your permission.

  As a reminder, all living profiles are private and you may choose to keep recently deceased profiles private. Profiles born more than 150 years ago (born before 1872) should be public. Curators do have permission to make profiles born more than 150 years ago public.  Keep in mind Geni is a collaborative, shared family tree and many other people will also have those same ancestors. If you would like to maintain a private tree under your full control, then perhaps Geni is not the right site for you. You may want to create a tree on MyHeritage instead where you can have a private, isolated family tree under your full control.
