I started building my family tree today and everytime I create a new profile and liste them as "dead", the family tree glitches and does not let me see it (the boxes appear empty), does not let me edit it, and just glitches.
I ended up having to delete the profiles. I re-did one of them and checked "alive" just to see what happened, and it's fine. So why can't I have them as dead? Is it because I did not input a date of death?
Hi Catia, no, you should still be able to edit a deceased profile. Can you please post the link to a specific example so that we can take a look?
Apparently it works fine when I use the browser Microsoft Edge, the glitch only happens while using Mozilla Firefox.
For instance, I've just now tried to open the tree in Firefox and it just glitches. But it works fine in Edge, so I'm using that.
Can you let us know what version of Firefox you were using?
I'm using version 96.0.3 (64-bit)
I have a same problem. Bad think that it concerns my sister who passed away.
And another that it reminds us every year the anniversary of wedding with her husband.
Is it possibility to edit and end this misery?

It doesnt matter what you are using - same in Edge or Firefox.
Hi Rostislav, we're sorry to hear about your sister's passing. Your issue is different. It sounds like she may have claimed her account, which is why you do not have the option to edit. Please report her profile as Deceased via the Actions button on her profile. When you submit the report, all birthday and anniversary reminders will stop. Once our customer service team reviews the report, they will be able to unclaim the account so that you may update it to reflect her passing.
