Geni Support Team Hi Ronald, Yes, you do have a FREE basic account. It is not required to upgrade to use Geni. If you would like to close your free account, you may do so in your account settings.
Note we do offer a premium subscription to access additional features, such as priority support via our ticketing system. However, you can contact us for FREE regarding your account/subscription status by emailing us at subscriptions@geni.com.
