My current wife's/partner's name is incorrect. How do I correct it? There is no "Edit" capability and I manage that tree branch.

Job Waterreus I think you mean her ex-partner.
If he is a Geni user only he can change the name. If he does not use Geni anymore he should close his account, so someone else can manage his profile. If he is deceased you should report hem from the actions menu on his profile.
Please also check your setting for the second check box on https://www.geni.com/account_settings/managed_profiles

Geni Support Team Hi Steven, your wife has claimed her account with her email address. Therefore, she will need to login to her account to update it.
Note if she would like to let family edit her profile, then she may update her account settings by going to her Profile Privacy settings and checking the box "Let my family edit my profile."
