I can't report death date of my father, the field does not exist

Geni Support Team Hi Laurent, we're sorry to hear about the loss of your father. We see that your father had claimed his account with his email address, which is why you do not see the option to add a date of death on his profile. We have now unclaimed his account so that you and your family may update it to reflect his passing.
If a relative claimed their account, they can be reported as deceased via the Actions button on their profile page. Please see our FAQ for more details:
