My grandfather had a wife who died very young and then he married her sister (my grandmother). I can create a profile of either a sister, or descended wife, but I do not know how to connect them so it is the same person.
Same with another family - my great grandmothers brother married a sister of my great grandfather. So also she appears in two different places on the same tree. Is there a way to connect?

Click the profile>Click More>Click Move Profile>Drag onto the person you want to merge with>Select the relationship
Thank you Adeel, I did so, but still the profile appears in two different places... in one as a sister of my grandmother, and in an other one as the ex-wife of my grandfather. It would be so much easier if I could just draw an extra line, connecting my grandmothers sister with her husband... As both were married to the same man. Because now even my grandfather appears in two different places... next to my grandmother and next to the sister...
there were 4 sisters in total
it would be a lot more clear if I could somehow just draw a line from the 4th sister (on the left) to her parents and erase her from there on the right completely...
I had this same issue. Geni knows it's the same profile, if you clear out the inconsistencies for those 2 profiles, it will show a '2' circle to the left corner
