I just joined Geni so this is a very basic question...I searched and found an ancestor, but when I try to look at the profile I get sent to the enrollment page for Geni Pro. I was able to look at profiles as a guest before creating an account. Is it possible to get past the Geni Pro enrollment page and look at profiles? Thank you!

Job Waterreus Yes, you can, but you can only use the Geni search for profiles you or your collaborators manage, you need an external search machine like Google to search for other (public) profiles. Also you can use Geni search to find profiles when you are not logged on to Geni.
Having a Pro account lifts this restriction for Geni search.

Job Waterreus For a basic user it helps to collaborate with other users working in the same part of the tree.
