The owner of our Geni family tree passed away in 2020. Since then none of us have been able to change any of the information that she had originally put in. We can enter new information but not correct/change/update anything. We also can't edit her information to reflect date of death. Any of the previous posts on this have been closed. I would like to take over the ownership of our family tree profile. Is that possible?

Geni Support Team Hi John, we're sorry to hear about your family's loss. You may report your relative's profile as Deceased by going to their profile page, clicking on the Actions button, and select Report. From the dropdown, choose "Deceased" and leave a comment requesting you be made manager of the profiles that were once managed by your relative.
