Once you have enabled Email Two-Factor Authentication, each time you log into Geni with your password you will be sent an email that you must use to complete your login. After authenticating with your email address and password, you will be presented with the following screen prompting for the 6-digit code that Geni sends to your primary email address:
The email you will receive contains this code as well as a button you can simply click to confirm:
| NOTE: You can click the button on a device that is NOT the same as the device where you entered your password. Doing so will complete the login on the original device. |
You can copy & paste (or manually transcribe) the code to the login page:
| NOTE: you can enable "Trust this device" to prevent email verification on this device for two weeks. |
...or you can click the button to receive a confirmation message. The login page will automatically refresh to complete your login:
