since setting up my dad's account and uploading DNA from FTDNA, he has not received any match updates since 27th November 2016, which I find odd as I receive regular matches. Can anyone please advise/help with this?

Emery William Oliver After you long in, between the "Search People" box and the name of the person that owns the account is a small, gray, unhighlighted box usually with a 0 in it. Click on it and it will show your "Notifications" with a drop down box that includes "Matches" and "DNA Matches".
My problem is that my Father's DNA, and all 18 matches, are "Hidden" and I don't know how to view any of them.
