Jeff, Geni Curator Ok - but there should be because? Please explain the bug your reporting as there could be no info because the search returned 0 hits. What was the query?

Michael Busch-Sørensen When I receive a message regarding matches, as when I in generel search (where you are re-directed to myherritage) I get lists which are similar to not being logged in - almost:
i.e. the data is masked, but for the data which I have in Geni, and I can search, but not "view".as I am a PRO member, this is a VERY SERIOUS limitation

Jeff, Geni Curator While some MyHeritage Record Matches are free, the MyHeritage data subscription, which includes all Smart Matches, Record Matches, and MyHeritage Search, is not part of the Geni Pro subscription.

Michael Busch-Sørensen Well, I can tell you that through years I have had functionallity which has disappeared today. Geni has started acting as if I am not logged In. or in other words the search function is completely useless.

Jeff, Geni Curator You're confusing me with your terms. This is Geni's search: https://www.geni.com/search/advanced or https://www.geni.com/search
But it sounds like you're talking about MyHeritage. MyHeritage also has a search, but that's not what you linked to above in your image, which is a Record Match. So I'm confused on what you're talking about.
Geni has not changed it's offering or service. If something is not working correctly, then it's likely a bug with that match, if you're talking about a match. MyHeritage is a completely different site then Geni, so it is possible to be logged into Geni and be logged out of MyHeritage. If it looks like you're logged out on the MyHeritage side (Record Match) then maybe you are. Make sure you're logged into MyHeritage if you're expecting to see matches on their site that require a data subscription.
In any case, Geni hasn't changed anything.

Michael Busch-Sørensen let me share with you by a screen dump.
yesterday I could click all 3 types of buttons, giving me access to the different matches, as I could by clicking on the "check" og "x" could handle the match. that has been disabled now, so I can only see a future with massive amount of matches which I can't address. AND as the function has been disabled, this is a significant change in my subscription.

-
Jeff, Geni Curator That is part of the MyHeritage Data subscription. I would make sure you're logged into https://www.myheritage.com and perhaps https://www.myheritage.no

Michael Busch-Sørensen have tried logging on and of several times, including restarting my PC. I have noted and posted this issue 2 months ago "
87619 Skinnerup Web Site administreret af Bjrn Skinnerup (Kontakt)", and during the last month Geni has told me in Danish that I am using non-english letters when typing æøåÆØÅ which are - Danish letters.

So maybe there is something going wrong with my account on the server side?
-
Michael Busch-Sørensen and its is case number 87619 regarding Skinnerup Web site....
the picture inserted has moved the text

Jeff, Geni Curator In the picture above, it's suggesting that you click the Add Language button to add Danish. The dialog is a new feature implemented to get more people to use the defined language the name is in, since Geni has multilingual support on the profile names.
-
Michael Busch-Sørensen thx for the suggested solution, I have been there, and this is how it looks now (translated from Danish: all settings are Danish)

-
Jeff, Geni Curator It's not referencing your language, but the profile's. See https://www.geni.com/blog/new-on-geni-multilingual-profiles-386125.html

Bjørn P. Brox Michael, - the phrase is as Jeff tells new, and probably not translated yet.
