Several people seem to have merged this family to another family it may or may not be connected to. Children with the last name of Staats have been included as children of. I believe this may be due to a confusion between cousins (?)
According to my research, Abraham b. 1663 and Geertruy's son, David A Schuyler, married Maria Hansen (daughter of Hendrick and Debora Van Dam Hansen) and had only one child who survived into adulthood, Abraham (or Capt. Abraham), b. 1735. Abraham did not marry an Aeltje Voorhees. Can you help?
