Hello several people have merged in trees and over written my tree and now I can't access parts of my own tree to fix mistakes or add information, what can I do to fix this. I can't even add information to my own great grand parents now.

Bjørn P. Brox That is impossible, - if still connected you should have full access to edit all profiles within your family group except of other user profiles and locked Master Profiles.
As far as I can see all your four great grandparents are regular profiles.
If you with "great grand parents" mean profiles within the historical area, for example 10 generations away they might be locked master profiles where only curators are allowed to edit, since they are nth great grandparents for thousands or million of other users.
Geni is a site for the world tree, i.e. a shared tree with only one profile per person. Read more about it here: https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more
If you want to make changes to locked Master Profiles you should ask the curator to do that, and you should probably have good arguments and documentation for your changes, but please read the About Me of the profile first. Locked profiles should have statements telling why it is locked.
