Since 2 days ago, when I view my tree I get a message saying I am using a device that does not have Flash player, and redirects me to the HTML5 version.

I do have flash player.  I am using most recent version of Google Chrome (automatic updates) and most recent version of Flash (automatic updates) on most recent version of Windows 10 (automatic updates). Flash is allowed for Geni.com.  This now happens on all browsers - Firefox, IE, Edge, Safari.

The HTML5 version is definitely not user friendly - I can't even move around on the page, so I'm stuck looking at my own profile and can't go anywhere.

What's the fix?  I have flash, everything up to date, cookies cleared, computer restarted, yadda yadda.  I was getting ready to purchase the pro version and that same day the tree started doing this, and I can't justify in my head paying for an upgrade if I can't even navigate the tree.

  You might have to enable flash since a recent upgrade disabled it (the same problem with Edge and other browsers by the way)

  First open chrome://settings/content/flash (copy and paste that link in the adress line) and allow flash on request and then add https://[*.]geni.com to the Allowed list (this will allow flash only for Geni)

  You might also have to make changes in chrome://flags/
  Sen Enable on Run all Flash content when Flash setting is set to "allow"  in chrome://flags/

  I have a new Mac with Chrome browser. Flash player was installed last week. When I'm on Geni, a warning (about Flash player) appears very briefly . I can't read it because it disappears so fast. and Geni is a little weird.
