My sister was transgender. How do I add her?

My sister is transgender.    Does geni allow me to add her or is this sort of thing moralized and forbidden?

  There is no timeline for the gender.  The only thing you could do is document it, if you so desired, in the birth event and then later create another event for the transition.  You could also possibility use the birth name field if her name changed.

  One thing to note, Geni does use gender in propagation and matching of mtDNA & yDNA.
