WTF is with this site

Site api is broken for starters. The few people I've added to my tree took me about an hour because the site kept freezing up. I've completely stopped trying at this point. Why are they stuck using a site designed in the early 2000's? Do they not employ people to manage/overhaul the system? Also why is it when I'm on the site if I click on another's profile it won't let me access it? I'm constantly given prompts to give them money... lmao yeah ok. Site doesn't work at all yet they want my money? I guess there's a reason they're ranked at the bottom among genealogy sites. I mean if I just Google the name of the person in the profile +geni I can easily access the page. Weirdest thing is I could've sworn I could navigate through profiles easily yesterday. Like did you try to make the worst site possible so other genealogy sites like my heritage would seem like a deal? Also I'd like to add, most if not all the records hidden behind paywalls on sites like myheritage are accessible for free if you know what to look for/where to look. Tabarnak geni

  Hi Michel, we're sorry to hear about your troubles. Are you still having trouble adding profiles to the tree? What browser/version are you using? 

  Most of the features on Geni are free. If you are seeing a paywall, then it is likely that you are trying to access a paid feature. For example, full access to our search engine is a Pro feature. However, you can access profiles you have added or that are managed by your collaborators for free.

  Note if you are trying to access Record Matches or Smart Matches, these are provided in partnership with MyHeritage and require a separate MyHeritage data subscription. However, as you have noted, there are some collections that can be accessed for free, such as BillionGraves.
