Hi,

 

How can I add an adopted child for a single parent?

 

My ex-wife (we have a child together) has adopted a child as a single parent, but I am also placed as the father of this new child by Geni even though the adoption took place many years after we divorced.

  Hi Lars,

  To add an adoptive child to a single parent, simply click on the + tab below your ex-wife's node to add a new child. In the edit card, you will be asked "Who are this child's parents?" Select the choice that shows your ex-wife and a new partner, like in the example below:
