I tried to create and save a list which would show only lineal ancestors. When saving the list the filter of profile privacy setting changes to "private". When you open this saved list it does not show you any profiles which are "public" as the filter setting is "private" - means there are zero or only few profiles in the list. This happens every time so it's impossible to save an useful list of lineal ancestors as it just won't work.
