Job Waterreus It may help if you can give an example link and give some information about the device you are using (computer, telephone, ...)
Do you add from the profile screen or from tree view? (if from tree view you may want to check the number of generations to show and see if decreasing the numbers helps)

Mary McNicol I've literally just joined so the tree just has a few people added. It doesn't matter which way I try to add a person - from a tree or via my profile, some just freeze as soon as I put in the Dob. I use my mobile for it and usually never have an issue on any other website.

Mary McNicol Yes the date format is correct - I've set it for dd/mm/yyyy
And for the mobile device - it's android and using Google chrome. Never had an issue like this with any other site in the 4 years I've had it!

Geni Support Team What type of Android phone are you using?
When you say you can't save, is the keyboard shown on the screen? If you dismiss the keyboard, are you able to see the save button?

Job Waterreus If the problem is that you do not see the save button, can you zoom the screen so it becomes visible?
On many browsers you can change the zoom level by using the mouse scroll wheel . Otherwise you can Google how to do it on your browser/device combination.

Oliver Alexander Widengren I also have the exact same problem. Completely freezes/unresponsive when adding date of birth, date of death or where they were born. In all these scenarios it freezes and I don't have the save button.

Geni Support Team Oliver, please create a separate issue detailing the steps you took, a link if possible, and the device, browser/version you have tried.
