Geni Support Team Hi Kenneth, can you clarify what you are trying to download? Are you trying to export a GEDCOM of your tree?

Kenneth Mark Feusse "GEDCOM import is in progress for this profile." Has been showing for several days after importing the file.

Job Waterreus Importing a GEDCOM can take a very long time (months or longer) depending on how many duplicates it creates and for private duplicates if the profile has active managers.
The import will pause importing a branch when it detects a possible duplicate and will only continue when the profile is merged or the match is rejected.
When a private profile has no active manager anymore the duplicate will not be merged and that branch will only continue to import when the profile is merged or the merge is rejected.
If you are a basic user you will find it a bit complicated to find the record that Geni found as a possible duplicate, if you are a Pro user that is no problem.

Geni Support Team Hi Kenneth, your GEDCOM import has paused after detecting duplicates. You will need to resolve the duplicates in your GEDCOM dashboard before the import can continue.
