Job Waterreus Does it work if you go to the profile and invite from there?
-
Alison Stroebel I don’t find any invite option there. I thought I was inviting them to Geni or can I only invite them to my tree if they already a member of Geni?
-
Job Waterreus You can create a profile for them, fill in the email address and invite them to join Geni as a member. See How do I invite a relative to join the tree? and How do I re-invite a relative?
-
Alison Stroebel Ok done that but the invite doesn’t appear. Only as previously mentioned.
-
Job Waterreus Sorry, I'll leave it to Geni staff to help you further
-
Alison Stroebel Thanks so much for trying to help. I appreciate it.

Geni Support Team Hi Alison, can you please provide the link to the profile so we can take a look?
There can be a couple of reasons why you do not see the option to send an invitation. It is possible that person has already accepted an invitation to join or the person is underage.

Alison Stroebel Link to what? My tree, his profile? He is my brother and is definitely not underage. Born in 64.

Job Waterreus his profile. may be a screenshot would help
-
Alison Stroebel How do I get a screenshot loaded here. It doesn’t give that option.
-
Job Waterreus You can insert an image here, but you can also save it and upload it as a Geni (public) document and post a link here.

Geni Support Team Alison, a link to the profile. But since you have now specified it was your brother's profile, we can see that you have already sent him an invitation to join but he has not yet accepted. In fact, there is a "Remind" button that is appearing on his profile page so that you can send him a reminder to join.
You can see all the invites you have sent in your Inbox here: https://www.geni.com/requests/sent
