There is NO icon for NOTIFICATONS

No ideas, just problems.....I cannot find my INBOX with my private messages.  The HELP section tells me to look at the top header on the right of the screen, and then CLICK on the NOTIFICATIONS option........THERE  IS  NONE.....HELP

  Click on the number box between the search field and your profile image at the top left on most Geni pages. This number usually tell number of unread messages and discussions you are following,

  Try also clicking your own name at the same section to see the options there, like account settings.

  Thanks, Bjorn........yes, that INBOX is there, but I am looking for my private messages on the Geni page.  When I do receive one, it is announced to me by an email, which contains a LINK

  that takes me right to the private messages.   But with out that LINK,  I cannot find that place again.........it should not be so hard.....I am feeling very stupid.
