Sheila Gordon I've been trying to send messages to managers today and have been unable to do so - i.e. nothing happens when clicking on the 'send' button. I then tried going to the respective managers' pages to send the messages but, again, nothing happened when clicking 'send'. Very frustrating!

Jeff, Geni Curator Geni has pushed out an update to try and squash the message bug you're experiencing. Can you try again and let us know? Thanks

Lauri Kreen Still npt working for Firefox (Windows 7)

Jette Rosborg I cannot send new messages from geni.
I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit and use Google.
It has been so for nearly a week and I have twice reported it in genihelp but I have not heard anything.
I can answer a message sent to me.

Lauri Kreen Currently the problem seems to be related to Geni UI language. Send works OK only if Geni is set to English (try this solution).
But it shall be repaired for all other languages too.

I am Danish and I have my language on geni to the English language.
I have used geni since 2007 and it is first time I have had this problem.

I looked now at my genilanguage and it was Danish and not English as I wrote.
I tried just now to chnage my language to English UK and then I could send a message without problems.

I'm trying to message account manager Alex Roseman. When the text is inserted, I enter to send. An error message appears telling me to write a message. What is the fix?

Lauri Kreen Please try to log on into Geni via another browser (Firefox, IE, or Opera instead of Chrome) and then try to write and send message (to the same person / stranger for you). Or temporarily disable AntiVirus / Internet Security before writing and addressing this message.
The case is that it wants to add Captcha ("I am not robot") at the end and you shall answer or mark it - but currently your browser settings or antivirus is disabling this Capcha script (also hides this page part) and your send command will be invalid.
