I have 43 matches. But every time I try to merge profiles I get an error message that I don't have permission to modify the profiles.
What's the point in showing me matches that I can't do anything about?

Jeroen M.W. van Dijk What kind of rights do you have. Pro or basic user? And do you still have this problem. I know it is a very old problem, but still if you having this problems then is still an open problem. I like to close this problem.
