GEDCOM File Download in Progress

When you get email that your gedcom is ready and go to this page to download, you often have to click on "try again" on that page, but this will now give you a totally another page that have nothing to do with your GEDCOM and tells that "That profile is no longer available" and even in an language that you have not set.

• This was done with ancestors request, so not sure if you have same problem with other gedcom export option but I would assume so.
• "That profile is no longer available" should not pop up when you just try to download a gedcom
• Url on try again was "http://www.geni.com/gedcom/download/get_file?filename=export-geni.zip" and have nothing to do with profiles

  The same problem exists with GEDCOM.

  Has this been fixed???  I tried downloading a GEDCOM that someone exported from Geni.  After I click on "Download my GEDCOM file", it goes to a page that says "page not found.  Very frustrating!!!!  Please update on the status so I can continue with my project.  Thank. you.

  I have a similar type problem... I am able to click "Download my GEDCOM file", and I see that's in progress, however I do NOT receive an e-mail EVER. Have sent in a bug/request report 3 times and get no answer! =(

  I've received an e-mail saying that my GEDCOM is ready, but I'm experiencing the say issue as Diana Belferman on July 24, 2011.  Very frustrating.

  I'm really sorry to hear about your problems, GENI did have some problems with importing GEDCOM files, so of some years the GEDCOM import was limited or disabled, but the export of GEDCOM did not have problems as far as known.
