Why are the birthday/special occasion greetings disabled? Not everyone who views the site and wants to send a greeting wants to default to a sales page with their credit card number already entered. If this isn't obnoxious enough, there's no way to get beyond the advertisement and actually send the greeting... Apparently, GENi doesn't intend to continue offering this service which in itself is goodwill advertising... I for one will not interact with ANY pop up ads; I disable them, mute them, or close the page altogether.

Lo Absolutely agree it is major YUCK! They tried this a few months ago, rescinded it, now are restricting it again - I agree they should not do it.
However, do want to mention - you can still go to the person's Profile Page and leave a message in their Guest Book.
