Maybe they all eventually point to the same place, but it is confusing when three identical "Feature Requests" show up under the "Submit an idea..." panel.
HI Dan - If you look carefully, you'll see that each 'Feature Request' is indented under a heading. The first one, closest to the top if for Feature Requests related to Geni in general. The other two Feature Requests sections aren't available to all users - only some. You'll see one is nested under the 'Curator' heading, for features related to curator tools, and the other is nested under the 'Translators' heading for features related to Translator tools.
The translators and curators feature requests are specialized, so it's helpful to us and our users to have them off in their own sections where they aren't affecting (or confusing) users who otherwise don't have access to curator and translator tools.
This is now up to 5 (different feature requests I see viewed from http://help.geni.com/home ... and no indication as to how they are different. Perhaps they could have an addition to each title (for the 'special' ones) to help clarify which is which.
