Why am I listed as the profile manager for people I never heard of? Also, why am I listed as following people I never requested to follow? I am getting emails from people asking me questions about profiles that I have no interest in. Please stop assigning me to things, and, if possible, reverse the one's you have done. Geni used to be enjoyable, and over the last few years it is a mess.

Jeff, Geni Curator It's likely that management was transferred to you as the closest active relative of an inactive member. Someone reported the tree as abandoned. Not sure how to renounce management except one by one.

Patsy Jean Peel My name is listed as manager on over FOUR THOUSAND profiles.. I cannot delete that many one by one!

Jeff, Geni Curator Nor should you delete the profile - it would be vandalism of the world family tree and a violation of the terms of service. If you want, you can close your account which would transfer them to the next closest relative and I could then add you back into the tree. Let me ask Geni if there is anything that can be done to transfer profiles.

Patsy Jean Peel I think you are right about management being transferred to me. Most all of the members are relatives of my brother's step daughter. I see she is no longer active.
