Jeff, Geni Curator There are several Jeff Meier profiles on Geni, but if your ex-wife is Jane, you can't delete it because it's claimed (she's a Geni member). You can set her relationship to be your ex-wife, which will delist her from your profile but still show the connection (dashed line) to indicate she is the mother of your children (also Geni members). This is the normal practice when children are involved with the tree. You can also block her which would prevent contact. Pro members and curators do have the ability to disconnect someone from the tree, but it might also disconnect your children. I usually help out in disconnecting ex spouses or partners, but not when there are kids connected unless we're looking at tree vandalism. They may want to expand their mother's tree and explore their maternal ancestry.
If you're a different Jeff Meier, point me to you and I'll take a look.

Jeff, Geni Curator You never replied back, so I'm not sure what you were expecting. As I stated in my last post, it's not a software bug. You can't delete a claimed profile, but I think what you really want is to disconnect it from your tree. You can't do that because your not a pro member as it would split the tree. I'm willing to help you out, but you have to give me some information. Who do you want disconnected from whom? If you're the Jeff Meier I think, is it your nephew Nick and his ex-wife Anastasia you want disconnected? If that's the case, I can do that.
