My Mom who invited most of my family can no longer log in to her account.
She gets the error: This email is not connected to any account on GEnie and it's the same she has used for many years. It currently also states that my brother manages her profile when she created it and invited most of the rest of us.
Please help!

Did she perhaps not log in for a long time? If so, it is possible her account was reported as "Abandoned": http://help.geni.com/entries/20475503-what-is-an-abandoned-tree I believe in the past they also removed management of the Person's account, making the Profile unclaimed and turning over to someone else - so perhaps this happened. Or perhaps she was incorrectly Reported as being Deceased. In any case, with luck, you can restore her access --
On Geni - take a look at her Profile. In Tree View, a claimed Profile has blue outline around profile photo. Does it show her profile as claimed? If not, if she is shown as Deceased, change her profile to living. Then look -- If the e-mail field is showing, fill it in with the e-mail she wants to be using, thus having Geni send her a new "invite". Should not have been necessary, but with luck it may solve the problem. (This is also what to do if a family member closes their account, then wants back.).

Our records indicate that your mother's profile was reported as Deceased by a cousin. We unclaim the profiles that are reported as deceased and change the profile status to deceased which is why your mother was unable to log into her Geni account. You may go to her 'Edit Profile' page and change her status to 'Living' and then re-invite her back to her profile.
