Some one removed the data I had installed on members of my tree and put wrong info instead. I don't think this should be allowed. What good is the tree if this is going on. Michael Nelson's name is on every one of my family members. Is he allowed to change things to suit himself? If so, the tree is a farce.

You should be able to undo changes that are incorrect. Review the revision history of the profile. The best way to maintain correct data is to source it as many trees can have conflicting data and it is sometimes difficult to determine which set of data is accurate. This is a collaborative tree - we work together to expand the tree and update fields. Michael Nelson must be connected to your family in some way and had duplicated profiles, which were merged into a single tree. In most cases this is used to improve the accuracy of the tree, but in some cases, it can introduce incorrect data. In that case, you revise it to the correct information. Once you have a profile that is complete, you can have a curator set it as a master profile, leave a curator note, and even lock certain fields from being changed if it's data that is prone to error.
