I can't remove my ex-wife

I get the messege "Warning: Removing these connections will split the tree." and then I can't click remove. I think it is a bug, I should be able to remove her entire tree?

  Only pro members can split a tree.  Up-vote this feature request where I ask for this functionality for free users (http://help.geni.com/entries/23176108-Remove-relationship-on-yourself-Free-membership-).

  I can help disconnect it for you though.  I'll send you a private message.

  Remya, is this still a problem for you?  I don't see an ex-status, so not sure if you got it fixed or not.

  Thanks so much for your response. I'm no longer married to Nishith, we got separated two years ago. But I couldn't find an option to remove him, so didn't mark him as ex.

  If you could remove our connection that would be amazing!!

  @jeff

  I am wondering why this is a problem, I have 2 profiles that has nothing attached at next level like children or so, one is my ex-wife and the other is a profile created by error... And what ever I try to do; I just cant get them deleted or disconnected. What is the trick ?
