Please merge Li You Tian as husband only of his wife Luo Shi

In the extended sub-tree of my husband Ernest Chapson, it shows that his grandmother, Luo Shi, is a partner and a wife of his grandfather Li You Tian. This is incorrect. It should be shown as her husband only.

Furthermore, Brian James has no authority to be the manager of my husband's profile. I am the manager of my husband's profile.  This has been mentioned to Brian James, and he has agreed to relinquish his status.

I shall very much appreciate it if the above corrections are incorporated.

  Frida, you should be able to do most of this yourself, so I'll try to explain it.  You need to merge the two profiles of your husband's grandfather, and their parents.  To do this, select the "More" link on the profile in tree view on Luo Shi and select "Resolve Duplicates".  This will bring up a screen where you can drag the two profiles of Li You Tian on top of one another, identifying them as the same person.  This will merge them.  Then you'll probably get an exclamation on his profile because he'll have 4 parents, click it and do the drag thing again to merge them.  If you have problems, let me know and I can do it for you, but would rather teach you. :) 

  As for Brian James, releasing management is not going to do anything as he's in the family group.  Anyone in your family can edit Ernest's profile, unless he claims it.  But in any case, if Brian wants to relinquish management, he just needs to go to the profile and select the "Actions" menu, then choose Management Options, then click the little (x) by his name.

  Hi Jeff Gentes,  I followed your instructions and supposedly was successfully as shown by the response. I checked the family tree diagram and it looked like the merge was done. However,  on refreshing the family tree, it showed that the change was not done, and the duplication was still present.  I cannot understand Why. Jeff, I would very much appreciate it if you would kindly do the merge for me, as I am afraid that if I attempted the merge again, I may disrupt the tree totally.

  No problem - I've merged them. :)  You'll just need to resolve the data conflicts on his great grand parents.
