Problem Exporting GEDCOM

I am unable to export a GEDCOM.  When I submit the request, I get the following error message in red print: Profiles to export (between 1 and 0 profiles).

The only profile I actually created was my own, then I merged with my husband's tree.  My husband had already created all the profiles for my ancestors.  He is unable to download those profiles (since they are not his ancestors), and I can't download them either.  Do they really have to be re-entered by me in order to be downloadable?  They would then have to each be merged with my husband's tree.  That does not seem sensible.
