I merged my socrtwo@gmail.com profile, which was a basic account, with my other account, socrtwo@s2services.com, which is a Pro one. I removed the socrtwo@gmail.com from the Email addresses on the account. In the combined account, it has reverted to a Basic one. I have definitely purchased a Pro membership on the socrtwo@s2services.com one so this is a bit frustrating.

I would like to clarify that you were in the 14 day free trial period for the Pro subscription, you had not been charged for the Pro at the time your profiles were merged which cancelled the free trial subscription.
I have set up a new free trial Pro subscription for you and you will be charged until February 24, 2014 unless you choose to cancel the subscription prior to February 24, 2014. For instructions on how to cancel your subscription, please see the following link from our FAQ section:
