Smart Matches that aren't smart

My name is John Jones--

That does not mean that I am related to every other John Jones on this planet. Your Smart Match apparently does not take such a thing into consideration and has already "found" a "relative" with the same first and last name as mine. This is not helpful, it simply complicates the process and requires an extreme amount of additional time and effort to weed out such errors. I don't have time for this, so it looks like your service is definitely not a good fit for me, personally.

Further, there is reference to my maternal grandfather on here, and the information is wrong--and I have submitted an e-mail to the person who was "managing" this information (who does not appear to be related to me or any of the other people in my family tree, by the way) with no response. How can someone who is not related to us be allowed to enter such information? That makes no sense, to me; but, even if they are only trying to be helpful, then, why no response so that this error could be corrected? Again, this seems to be something which would generate a great deal of needless confusion, and therefore, again, this would not be something which I would be interested in dealing with, under any such circumstance.

Good luck with all of that--but, it won't be useful to anyone if it is all wrong and cannot be conveniently cleared up.
