The family member I send an invitation to clicks on the link to accept the invitation. She is taken to a sign-up web page (http://www.geni.com/family-tree/signup). She enters First name, Last Name, Email, Gender, and Password, then clicks on the Continue button, but then gets a message that Invitation has already been sent, and asks the user to either Resend the Invitation or Start a New Tree. The family member wants to join my family tree, not start a new one, so she is stuck in a loop of not being able to accept the invitation.
When I have her forward me the link and I click on the link without being logged on to the site, I reproduce the same bug as described above. However, if I log into my Geni account, and then click on the same link, it accepts the invite - so looks like the bug is that it is expecting the user to already have been authenticated on the Geni website to be able to accept the invite; but a new user wouldn't have an authentication token yet, so the new user would not be able to accept the invite.
Please fix so that I can invite other family members.
Thank you.
