I am interested in joining, but I notice that there are some inaccuracies in one theplr profiles I just received. For example, My address is listed as 8 Cam Shell Avenue, East Hampton, NY. That was never my principal address. It was my summer home for a number of years, but I sold it long ago. Also, one of my names is listed as "Roberstein." That was never my name. Perhaps someone misspelled it. There are other errors. How do I correct them?

Peter, depends on the errors. If it's just data errors, such as a wrong date, then you should be able to update that yourself. If it's relationships and people that are incorrect, then you may want to reach out to the curators for assistance. The errors that you report as fact are making false the information you want people to believe is true. You are perpetuating mis-information. You refuse to let me correct these errors. They are misspellings, wrong dates, wrong relationships, wrong addresses. You post other peoples information over my information and I am the family member, eliminating or changing my correct information without re-dress. It is not a two-way street. Even a "typo" on my part or someone else's part cannot be corrected. Why not? This is very disappointing to me as I was hoping for a really good genealogical site. I think you need to establish an easy method for genuine corrections so that your reliability in genealogical information is more believable and acceptable. The problem is with relation connections. They refer me as a cousin when in fact
these relatives are: brother, mother, grandparents, aunts, uncles, niece & nephew, sister-in-law.. Nancy L Shepard. How do I fix the Shepard/McSweeney trees. Thank you
