Why do I get Birthday notifications on the individual's birthday day instead of advance?

I used to get notifications 3-5 days before anyone's birthday and now it is on their birthday... WHY  I need and like the advance notice

Can that be changed...  Seems like when I recently renewed my subscription it changed.

  It should have sent you two notifications.  It sends one a week before and another on the day of.
