I should be able to correct and add information by sending you an email without having to join. For example my grandmother Helen Nicholls should be listed as Lady Helen Nicholls OBE and she died in Hobart, Tasmania not NSW! Pls make sure your information is correct before you put it on soomeone's profile. Frances Campbell Nicholls nee Russell is still alive and was married on 27 September, 1947 in Melbourne. She has an MBE. On a profile, you should have a "contact us" button for corrections and additions. It's not difficult to check the authenticity of the information sent. Cheers LJA

  Lucy, the content of Geni profiles is generated by members like yourself.  The profiles you mention have a "Contact Manager" button on them, allowing you to contact the member that added the profile.  One great thing about Geni is that we can connect you into that existing tree and allow you to help manage your ancestors.  I'll send a message to the profile manager, letting him know of your concerns.
