  Ghoslain, could you be more specific about which profiles you're referring to?  I expect it is a close relative contributing to the shared tree.  Geni is a collaborative family tree and it's common for other family members to add content.  New cousins can sometimes be introduced into the tree when they create duplicates of existing profiles in their own branches, which get merged into a single profile bringing the branches together.  Please see the goal of Geni to learn more: https://www.geni.com/worldfamilytree/learn-more
