can you put a menu on the screen so emails are accessible and easy to find?

Jeff, Geni Curator This is a double post (http://help.geni.com/entries/70070790-Can-t-find-my-emails), but I'll repost my answer in case others are searching for a similar question.
There is a menu for the inbox on the top right of the Geni page (to the left of your name and right of the search box). It appears as a number - it will be red if there are messages. Click it and select the top menu item which is "Inbox Messages". That will take you to this page: https://www.geni.com/threads
For visibility, I would increase the Zoom level on your web browser, which is often done via the "View" menu.

Irwin Gordon Same problem, as always, when I began to use this site. E-mails should appear right on the page when I login so I can easily find it. This needs to be corrected. If I didn't receive direct notification to my personal e-mail address, then I would never know that anyone responded to my inquiry. E-mails would be here for years, and I would never know they existed.
Like the rest of phantom e-mails, I never saw any responses to my complaints, either, because you have to navigate back-and-forth several times to find them. So you responded two years ago? I just found out by accident.
You will never correct it, so I will never use this page to read e-mails, only to send them. As far as I'm concerned, this is a dead account.

Jeff, Geni Curator The site sends you an email and gives you a red indicator and number on the top of every page when you view the site. That's standard on most sites. They likely do put a notification in the news feed on the home page, but it likely gets pushed down by other notifications in the tree. So, I'm not sure what else they could do or what you're asking for. It's sort of on you if you don't read your email or don't click on the red indicator for new messages.
You can set your notifications in your settings if you feel your missing notices. https://www.geni.com/account_settings/notifications
