Just an FYI
Those spammers are so stupid by targeting managers of "famous" profiles where there always are curators involved and I can guarantee that of you see a curator as one of them getting the message you can trust that this curator takes an action and suspending the user. When you get such a message, just flag it as spam and then delete it (it will still be visible for CS). Geni has an automatic suspension if many users reports the same message, so that happen even if no curator is involved.
In any case: The spam level in Geni are extremely low compared to number of users.
There should be an option on the message to report it as spam. That will help Geni suspend the user account and prevent further messages to other users.
Gilly, you'll want to select the Actions menu on that profile and select "Report" and then choose Spam, then fill out the comment.
