Gene tells me I have entered an invalid birth date for my parents.

I'm just getting started. When entering the birth date for my parents, Geni tells me I've entered an invalid date, and won't let me save. I have in fact entered the exact format requested. (12 07 1927, and 11 09 1930)

  I think this is a bug in the beta html5 tree.  I'd suggest using the Flash tree or editing the profile from profile view, as opposed to tree view.

  You should however check if the date format matches the one you have selected in your account settings.

  A good workaround to ensure month is detected correctly you should spell the month name, either in full or short form matching your language setting, i.e "12 juli 1927"
